The Candles
Each candle at giftgiving.ch begins long before the wick is lit.
It begins with material, patience, and the decision to work slowly.
All candles are made from 100% pure beeswax, sourced locally and used exactly as it comes. Nothing is added. Nothing is blended. Beeswax carries its own quiet character: a soft, natural scent, a warm glow, and a surface that reflects the process behind it. It does not behave like industrial wax. It cannot be rushed or forced. It requires attention at every step.
Every figurine is poured, refined, and finished by hand, one at a time.
These are not mass-produced candles. They are small sculptural objects that happen to hold a flame. Some are playful. Some minimal. Some created for a particular moment. All of them are made with care and intention.
Because of this process, creation takes longer. Beeswax cools slowly. Details must be adjusted by hand. Each piece is checked before it leaves the workshop. No candle is sent unless it meets my standards completely. The result is a piece that feels considered from the first pour to the final packaging.
The candles are produced in small batches and often in limited editions. This keeps the focus on quality rather than quantity and allows each design to remain special. They are made to be given, kept, and remembered. A gift for someone else, or for yourself.
